Marjoram may be relaxing and calming to the muscles that constrict and sometimes contribute to headaches. Decreasing swelling is one of Marjoram's most important jobs, because swelling causes most of the pain you experience from cuts and bruises. If you have a headache, menstrual cramps or bruises, repetitive strain injury, sore throat, insect bite or almost any type of infection, they all involve inflammation that pins down your nerves, and that pressure causes pain. Marjoram can penetrate without causing extra heat sensation to the area. It can be effective with relief of backaches.
1. After-Sports Bath:
-3 drops Spark Naturals Lavender essential oil
-2 drops Spark Naturals Roman Chamomile essential oil
-2 drops Spark Naturals Marjoram essential oil
-1 drop Spark Naturals Helichrysum essential oil.
2. Soothe Aching Muscles:
-1 tsp Spark Naturals Fractionated Coconut Oil
-3 drops Spark Naturals Marjoram essential oil
-4 drops Spark Naturals Lavender essential oil
-4 drops Spark Naturals Thyme essential oil
-4 drops Spark Naturals Peppermint essential oil
Gently mix blend and apply to sore areas.
3. Soothe Aching Muscles II:
-1 T Spark Naturals Fractionated Coconut Oil
-4 drops Spark Naturals Marjoram essential oil
-5 drops Spark Naturals Geranium essential oil
-3 drops Spark Naturals Frankincense essential oil
-2 drops Spark Naturals Clove essential oil
-4 drops Spark Naturals Peppermint essential oil.
4. Post-Workout Rub:
-1 oz Spark Naturals Fractionated Coconut Oil
-3 drops Spark Naturals Marjoram essential oil
-2 drops Spark Naturals Thyme essential oil
-4 drops Spark Naturals Roman Chamomile essential oil
-3 drops Spark Naturals Lemon essential oil
-4 drops Spark Naturals Cypress essential oil
-2 drops Spark Naturals Peppermint essential oil
Mix gently and massage the mixture into your muscles and joints to prevent stiffness and pain.
5. Sprain Support Mix:
-1 tsp Spark Naturals Fractionated Coconut Oil
-4 drops Spark Naturals Marjoram essential oil
-2 drops Spark Naturals White Fir essential oil
-4 drops Spark Naturals Cypress essential oil
-3 drops Spark Naturals Peppermint essential oil
Gently mix and apply to sprain every 1⁄2 hour for first 4 hours and then every few hours as needed.
