Have you ever made your own granola? It's so easy! Try this eo-boosted granola to make your mornings easier and give your blood sugar a good start to the day.
Ingredients
•5 cups rolled oats
•1 cup 5-grain mix
•1 cup slivered almonds
•1 cup shredded coconut
•1 cup unsalted sunflower seeds
•2 T sesame seeds
•3/4 cup local honey
•4 T olive or coconut oil
•2-4 drops Spark Naturals Cinnamon essential oil
•3/4 cup assorted dried fruit (I used peaches, apples, and apricots)
Mix all dry ingredients together except the fruit. Set aside. Gently heat the honey and oil until the honey is runny. Remove from heat and stir in Cinnamon EO. Pour the honey mixture into the dry mixture and stir thoroughly to coat.
Spread on two large baking sheets covered in parchment paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 300F, stirring and rotating sheets halfway through. Remove and let cool, then stir in chopped dried fruit. Store in a glass jar. Enjoy!
